"Economia
e società aperta" (Economics and Open Society) is an international
forum set up and promoted by Bocconi University and Corriere della
Sera newspaper, providing an opportunity for reflection and
comparison of some of the major economic and social issues of our
time. From May 9th to 12th, 2007, Milan welcomed more than 150
internationally acclaimed guests who animated debates and meetings
open to dialogue and to comparison with civil society.

ceremony of Brembo’s Centro Ricerche e Sviluppo (Research and
Development Centre) within the Scientific and Technologic Park
Kilometro Rosso, on 12th May 2007, with Alberto Bombassei, Chairman
of the company, Prime Minister Romano Prodi, Minister Luigi Nicolais,
the President of the Lombardy Region, Roberto Formigoni, the
President of Confindustira, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo and local
authorities.
